Lee Purvis joins the team

For over 20 years Lee has been at the top level of international LED lighting and tech innovation sales.

A director that specialises in early-stage tech company development, Lee has driven several lighting companies to successful outcomes in the UK, including Traxon Technologies, RZB Lighting and EWO.

Delivering several keynote projects including Yas Island Formula 1 park, Wembley, Scottish Parliament, Guggenheim Museum, Canary Wharf, Canada water and Royal Albert Dock to mention only a few.

Considered as an innovative technology champion, Lee won the prestigious LUX award in 2018 for his vision of smart lighting and its integration in the smarter cities of the future.

Lee had a great grounding from which to launch his tech career. Starting life as a Chief Electronics Engineer in the Royal Navy, he cut his teeth as a lighting sales engineer with Dextra and Thorn lighting before specialising in the smart lighting vertical with Aurora Lighting Joining as Optrical’s Commercial Director, Lee brings a wealth of experience and connections to the team
