Trust made visible

See it

Trust it

Secure it

Welcome to Optrical

Authenticity should be visible, verifiable and impossible to fake. We manufacture micro-optic security films that the eye can check in a second — and we give every unit a digital identity that a phone can check just as fast.

One supplier, both layers, from the film line to the scan record.

The physical layer

Micro-optic security you can see

A micro-optic layer and a micro-printed graphic indicia combine into a dynamic 3D effect in real colour — instantly recognisable, and effectively impossible to copy. Tamper-evident constructions show any attempt to remove or reapply a label.

Cast on our own roll-to-roll line and converted in-house into labels, tapes, tax stamps and security threads.

The digital layer

A unique identity on every unit

QRSys gives each item its own code and its own record. Customers scan with the phone camera — no app to install — and see exactly what you choose to show them: authenticity, provenance, batch, care, or the campaign of the moment.

You see where and when codes are scanned, and which ones are being scanned more often than they should be.

The core difference

Every code is a unique identity — not a shared link

Most QR platforms point thousands of codes at the same URL. Ours gives every single code its own identity, with an individual scan history, a first-scan claim and a fraud profile — so you know which physical item was scanned, where, and when.

Why it matters

Two layers, one supplier

A printed code alone can be photographed and reprinted. A security label alone cannot tell you where it has been. Together they are far harder to defeat: the label proves the carrier is genuine, the code proves this particular unit is.

Sourcing those two layers usually means two vendors, two specifications and an integration problem in the middle. We make both.

Digital Product Passport

Europe is making transparency mandatory

The EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation brings Digital Product Passports to a widening list of categories through the second half of this decade — batteries first, then textiles, electronics and others. Every item will need to carry structured, accessible data about what it is, where it came from and how to handle it at end of life.

A shared QR pointing at a generic page will not satisfy that, and neither will a passport on a label anyone can copy. Both halves of the answer are already what we build: a unique identity for every unit, carried on a tamper-evident micro-optic label, openable by any phone with no app.

We are building passports on that foundation now, with early access opening by product category.
