A copied label carries a copied code. That is the moment it becomes detectable: two units now share one identity, and the platform is watching that identity rather than the campaign it belongs to.
Nothing here depends on the counterfeiter making a mistake in the artwork. It depends only on the copy being scanned somewhere, by someone, at some point — which is the one thing a counterfeit has to do to reach a customer.

Why it holds up
Every signal resolves to a per-code timeline: first scan, every scan since, and where each came from. That is evidence in a form an enforcement team, a marketplace or a court can read — not a dashboard number.
